Operation Encompass
At Mappleborough Green, we are proud to be an Operation Encompass school, a partnership between police and schools designed to support children who are victims of domestic abuse. If police attend an incident where one of our pupils is present, they will notify our Designated Safeguarding Lead before the start of the next school day.
This allows our specially trained Safeguarding Team to provide immediate, discreet support—whether that is a quiet word, a breakfast, or simply a flexible approach to the school day. Our goal is to ensure that home-school communication remains seamless so that every child feels safe, heard, and supported during difficult times.
